Motek/Bondexpo 2023
Hub for flexible production
In the fall of 2023, the Motek/Bondexpo duo will be one of the industry's highlights. From October 10 to 13, 2023, the 41st Motek will open its doors together with the 16th Bondexpo. The focus will be on industrial production as an overall system - from components, assemblies and subsystems to complete systems.
Traditionally, Motek/Bondexpo has been a topic-focused trade event that covers the entire process chain for cost-effective production and assembly automation - from components and assemblies to subsystems and complete systems.
Cobots to touch and try out
Both exhibitors and trade visitors appreciate this. "We are in a decade of transformation - and automation is proving to be a decisive lever in mastering this change. We are therefore all the more pleased to use Motek as an important hub to present our extensive portfolio and our latest innovations for flexible production," says Jörg Rommelfanger, Head of ABB's Robotics Division in Germany. The robotics specialist will be presenting the new GoFa cobots to trade visitors, as well as the partner ecosystem for providing plug-and-play packages for all ABB robots and machine safety solutions from ABB's Electrification business unit. The exhibitor also emphasizes that the cobots at Motek invite visitors to touch and try them out: "All visitors will have the opportunity to leave our stand as a cobot programmer," promises Rommelfanger.
Platform for expert discussions
Motek/Bondexpo is also a must for Rodriguez from Eschweiler. "Motek is an important industry meeting point for us. We look forward to technical discussions, exchanging ideas and innovations in the market," states Rodriguez Managing Director Gunther Schulz. The supplier of thin section and special bearings is bringing a number of trade fair highlights from the fields of precision bearings and linear technology to Stuttgart.
Martin Mechanic from Nagold in the Black Forest will also be among the exhibitors. "For us as a machine manufacturer, Motek is always a good opportunity to talk about new projects," confirms Martin Mechanic Managing Director Claus Martin. "Good discussions and interesting inquiries are often the start of long-standing business relationships. Motek has contributed to our success for many years."
Three main topics
"Motek, with its fully integrated Bondexpo, takes a holistic view of manufacturing processes, from the component to the complete system," explains Motek Project Manager Rainer Bachert. "Based on the pragmatic practical relevance and reliable thematic positioning of this trade fair, the focus this year is on three pillars - "Networked, smart production components", "Assembly assistance systems" and "Solutions for easy implementation and commissioning". All the technological innovations of recent years will be presented in a practical way - the advancing digitalization and networked production components, increasingly intelligent assembly and assembly assistance systems as well as plug-and-play solutions for the immediate implementability and commissioning of systems.
"Software, simulation and AI-supported processes permeate all three key topics," explains the project manager. "The aim for all areas is to make production more efficient, safer, more reliable and more economical. Conserving resources and sustainability run like a red thread through all areas. These are major tasks and immense challenges that manufacturing companies have to overcome. The industry will find practical approaches at Motek."
"The trade fair combines pragmatism, practical orientation and future viability," says Bettina Schall, Managing Director of trade fair organizer P. E. Schall. "We look forward to the personal exchange of expertise within the industry community and cordially invite all suppliers and users of modern production automation to this year's Motek/Bondexpo in Stuttgart from October 10 to 13, 2023."
