Merger of the Siegen ifm subsidiaries
By April 1, 2019, all Siegen-based companies belonging to the ifm Group will be brought together at one location. The latest location, "The Summit", brings together around 300 specialists from all areas of Industry 4.0 in a high-tech center to work on visionary ideas and solutions in the field of IIOT and camera technology.
The merger of the previously separate companies at the ifm site in Siegen is part of the Group's Industry 4.0 strategy. As part of this strategy, solutions for the digitalization of the entire value chain, from sensors to ERP, are developed, offered and implemented. The sisters pmdtechnologies and GIB as well as ifm solutions are moving into the new high-tech center in the Martinshardt industrial park together with the new ifm services.
The combination of specialized teams from all areas of Industry 4.0 make "The Summit" the ideal place to work on innovative ideas and successful products. Shorter distances, better infrastructure and new and modern workplaces make collaboration easier, more efficient and ultimately more successful for everyone involved.
