Coronavirus: Logimat 2020 is canceled
Logimat 2020 is canceled due to an official order.
On the LogiMAT homepage, Euroexpo as the organizer states: "Despite the coronavirus problem, the LogiMAT trade fair organizer Euroexpo Messe- und Kongress-GmbH, Munich, together with Landesmesse Stuttgart and the responsible local authorities, has so far assumed that LogiMAT can be held. The Esslingen health authority did not see any increased risk for exhibitors and visitors.
In the meantime, however, the risk of infection is increasing due to the increased and accelerated spread of the coronavirus in Germany, especially in the Stuttgart region. The responsible public order office in Leinfelden-Echterdingen ordered the trade fair organizer to cancel LogiMAT 2020 today at 5:17 p.m. on the urgent recommendation of the responsible health authority of the Esslingen district."
"After great efforts with Landesmesse Stuttgart, we have been unable to find a suitable date for a later event in 2020 and have therefore decided with a heavy heart to cancel LogiMAT 2020," said Christoph Huss, Managing Partner of EUROEXPO, explaining the reasons for the cancellation.
The next Logimat will take place in Stuttgart from March 9 to 11, 2021.
