Over the past two and a half years, the startup Laserhub has continuously refined and expanded its platform business model and expertise in laser cutting. Almost 3,500 customers have already used Laserhub's services to date, with the company now generating 80% of its revenue from regular customers.

"After processing sheet metal and tube parts, we are opening up a huge new business area with CNC turning. Our aim was to handle the entire ordering process here just as smoothly as our customers are already used to from our previous portfolio," explained Christoph Rößner, founder and Managing Director of Laserhub. "From the start, the new offering will enable us to manufacture everything from batch size 1 to large series."

Simple order processing with Laserhub
"We estimate the European CNC turned parts market to be three times larger than the market for sheet metal processing at 100 billion, so expanding our portfolio was the logical next step. However, the market for CNC turned parts is not only larger, but also significantly more complex than our original core business. We are dealing with more machine manufacturers, more suppliers and more customers with individual requirements," says Markus Ekert, Technical Lead for CNC turning at Laserhub.
