Kuka acquires Visual Components

Automation specialist Kuka has acquired the software solution provider Visual Components and intends to invest in the factory of the future. Visual Components specializes in software solutions for 3D simulation in factory planning.

The simulation is intended to complement Kuka's product portfolio and is therefore an important component in the design of the factory of the future. The software from Visual Components is used worldwide for important planning and decision-making processes. With its easy-to-use products and open architecture, the Finland-based company sets standards in the visualization and simulation of complete production processes.

For Kuka, the simulation tool is an important milestone with great potential for solutions relating to the company's simulation ecosystem.
