What motivated you to take part in the Products of the Year 2025 competition with your product?

Wiferion has submitted the CW1000 for the Products of the Year 2025 competition as it is a customized solution for small robots. With the increasing demand for flexible, powerful charging solutions for smaller autonomous mobile robots (AMR), the CW1000 was designed as a further development. It is 36% smaller than the 3 kW system and is particularly suitable for tight designs as it only requires one module for integration. Its fast energy transfer starts in one second, and charging during operation avoids interruptions and maximizes efficiency.

A key advantage is the manufacturer-independent interoperability of the CW1000. It can be flexibly integrated into AMR systems, allowing companies to modernize their fleets without major infrastructure changes. This combination of flexibility, efficiency and low maintenance makes the CW1000 a future-proof solution for automated processes.

What challenges do you face when developing new products?

The development of new products is challenged by the growing complexity of modern automation solutions. Companies demand flexible, scalable systems that can be seamlessly integrated into existing production environments. Particularly when it comes to the energy supply of AMR and automated guided vehicles (AGVs), the solutions must be powerful, low-maintenance and reliable. These requirements demand intensive development work. Wiferion meets these challenges through the continuous improvement of its inductive charging technologies and flexible integration into production environments.

What will Wiferion focus on in development in the coming years; what are the key technologies for you?

Over the next few years, Wiferion will focus on becoming a complete energy provider for AMR and AGVs. Complete solutions will become the focus of the strategy. The aim is to perfect charging technology and offer long-lasting, efficient and sustainable batteries. These are to be flexibly integrated into various systems and fleets are to be easily retrofitted. Interoperability remains a central element so that the solutions can be used in different applications without any problems.

An important aspect is the sustainable orientation of the systems. Wiferion maximizes the service life of its products and minimizes the consumption of resources. The company benefits from the expertise of Puls, which sets standards in terms of sustainability with its highly efficient power supply units. Together, solutions are developed that lower energy consumption and reduce operating costs in the long term.
