Gräff follows Brode
Uwe Gräff has been Chief Technology & Quality Officer at the Harting Technology Group since the beginning of January 2019. He succeeds Dr. Frank Brode, who retired at the same time.
"I am particularly pleased that we have been able to fill this position, which is so important for the Technology Group, internally. This shows the continuity and long-term nature of our actions and the quality of our management," says CEO Philip Harting. Uwe Gräff joined the Harting Technology Group as Managing Director at the beginning of 2015, where he was initially responsible for Market and Development at Harting Electric and for Development at Harting Electronics. He is currently Managing Director of Harting Electric and Harting IT Software Development at the Espelkamp-based family business.
After studying communication technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Bingen and gaining his first professional experience in an engineering office, Gräff joined Festo in Esslingen in 1993. He worked here until the end of 2014, most recently as Director of Global Development Automation. "We are looking forward to working constructively with Mr. Gräff. Above all, he will continue to drive forward the topics of digitalization and Industry 4.0," says Philip Harting.
On behalf of the family and the Management Board, Philip Harting would like to thank Dr. Brode for his successful work and many years of trusting cooperation. After joining the Technology Group in July 2011, Dr. Brode continuously developed the standards for quality in particular. During his time, he built and opened the Harting Quality and Technology Center (HQT). At the same time, he implemented important technological innovations. Dr. Brode has also provided impetus as a member of many committees and associations and through his contacts with universities and other research institutions. pb
