di-soric takes over SNT Sensortechnik

di-soric is taking over the Swiss ultrasonic specialist SNT Sensortechnik AG, based in Bülach near Zurich, thereby strengthening its expertise in the field of ultrasonic sensors. With the new subsidiary, the Urbach-based company is expanding its direct sales in Switzerland.

Pooling synergies and expertise: Rolf Kuratle (right), Managing Director of the new di-soric SNT AG and Stefan Eisemann, Managing Director of di-soric GmbH & Co. KG, seal the merger.

The family-owned company di-soric is on course for expansion and closed its most successful financial year to date in 2017 with double-digit growth. "We want to continue this positive development in the future, both with the existing companies and with company acquisitions. The acquisition of SNT Sensortechnik AG is very positive for us and our customers in several respects. On the one hand, we are increasing our technological expertise and portfolio depth in the field of ultrasonic sensors, and on the other, we can better support our Swiss customers with direct sales. We have already had a successful and close partnership with SNT for over 10 years, which favors the current merger," says Stefan Eisemann, Managing Director of di-soric.

di-soric acquires 100 percent of SNT Sensortechnik. In conjunction with the takeover, the "di-soric" brand is rebranded as "di-soric SNT AG". The Bülach site will be retained and sales activities will be gradually strengthened from there. Rolf Kuratle, the previous owner and Managing Director, will also head the new company as Managing Director. kp
