Thomas Lampe strengthens management team
Change of name and additional managing director at Pieper
Pieper, a provider of industrial video and security systems from Schwerte, Germany, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and is separating from the Moog Inc.
Thomas Lampe will strengthen Pieper's management team in the future. The former Düsseldorf branch manager has been with the company since 1990 and is primarily responsible for sales. "Thomas Lampe has been an important pillar of the company for many years. I am looking forward to shaping the future of Pieper GmbH together with a long-standing and highly esteemed colleague," says the previous sole Managing Director Thorsten Wulff.
Lampe is also looking forward to the new task: "For some customers, we have been companions for many years - yet every project has individual requirements. Video technology is a varied field. Industry 4.0 is currently opening up new and exciting opportunities." As Managing Director, he will continue to focus on sales and expanding the company's growth in the DACH region.
Another change results from the separation from the MOOG Inc. group. "The old and new company names have been very present among our customers over the years," says Wulff. "When the opportunity to buy the company back from MOOG Inc. arose, we didn't hesitate for long. We want to maintain the good partnership with MOOG. Pieper GmbH is a strong brand in the field of video security, and we want to make it even more present in Germany and worldwide in the future." The change of name took place at the end of August.
