Use in the conveyor chain
In partnership with a renowned customer in the mechanical engineering sector, SPN Schwaben Präzision has developed a spur gear for a float drive.
The advantage of the drive developed by SPN for roller conveyors is that it is so universally designed that it can be used throughout the entire conveyor chain. A clamping connection for fastening ensures maximum protection of the drive torque. The design of the spur gear is optimally protected against the ingress of abrasive substances.
The range of applications has been maximized by the fact that it can be installed both horizontally and vertically and requires minimal installation space. Further strengths lie in the high degree of flexibility in terms of gear ratios and different motor connections. Designed for a service life of 130,000 operating hours in 24/7 use, the SPN helical gearbox is extremely durable.
