SMC with future technologies at the SPS
Easy setting solutions for automation
In no other trade fair month are the experts from SMC Germany more in demand than in November 2023: At a total of four trade fairs, the specialist for pneumatic and electrical automation technology will be presenting pioneering innovations for sectors including medical technology, the electronics and semiconductor industry, mechanical and plant engineering as well as smart and digital automation. SMC will be represented at SPS at stand 371 in hall 4.
In line with the trade fair slogan "Bringing Automation to Life", SMC will be presenting an innovative range of products for future-oriented automation at SPS, from wireless, IO-Link and easy-setting solutions to mobile networking and predictive maintenance. The focus here is on the individual optimization of production processes for greater flexibility, efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Other trending topics include machine safety with tailor-made safety solutions and CE-compliant safety components as well as robotics, for which the SMC experts will be providing optimization solutions for applications such as welding, painting and handling as well as a portfolio of end effectors for collaborative robots (cobots).
Many product highlights at the trade fair
The top product highlights include the latest intelligent IO-Link solutions, the SY3000/5000/7000 series valve terminal, the EXW1/EX600-W series wireless fieldbus system and the air management system for reducing compressed air consumption. Michael Ehinger, Team Leader Energy Efficiency at SMC, will talk about specific application examples for increasing efficiency in his presentation "Energy-efficient system optimization - saving CO₂ in the machine thanks to efficient solutions" on 15 November 2023 at 12:20 pm in the Forum in Hall 5.
In addition to SPS in Nuremberg, SMC will also be present this fall at Compamed from November 13 to 16, 2023, at Semicon from November 14 to 17, 2023 in Munich and at FMB in Bad Salzuflen from November 8 to 10, 2023.
