Servo gearbox

One gearbox, three mounting variants

With the RD series, Nabtesco has compact servo gearboxes in its portfolio that can absorb high shock loads and offer high speeds and accelerations with particular positioning and speed accuracy.

Inside the servo gearbox is an RV gearbox. Thanks to their cycloidal design, the gearboxes do not require gearwheels in the output stage and are not subject to shear forces. This makes them powerful, precise and robust. The integrated angular contact ball bearings absorb axial and radial loads and bending moments and contribute to both torsional rigidity and high resistance to impact and overload (up to 5 times the nominal torque). Three mounting variants enable numerous application options, for example when selecting the servomotor. While the RDR series is designed for right-angled mounting, the RDS series is suitable for direct mounting; finally, the RDP is a variant with belt drive. The applications are therefore almost unlimited - from machine tools and robotics applications to packaging machines, medical technology and handling of all kinds. as
