Powerhouse line-X

Improved performance

Tox has improved the line-X drive cylinder with an update - higher rapid lifting forces, greater lifting speed and extended maintenance intervals are the result.

With the line-X power pack series, the southern German technology company Tox Pressotechnik in Weingarten is continuing to expand and optimize its range of pneumohydraulic press force drive cylinders. Now the series with air spring - instead of the mechanical spring for the return stroke - has undergone an extensive update. The aim was to increase performance, reduce maintenance costs and optimize delivery capability by streamlining the product range.

Various designs
The new power packs are available in type X-S (slim design), type X-K (compact design) and also as a separate pneumohydraulic unit type X-KT. Air spring, power stroke valve and fast stroke support are already integrated. New features include an air spring pressure regulator with maximum air throughput for optimized cycle times, a ZVL distribution bar including an Oder valve for continuous pressure generation and an Oder valve for fast stroke support. Three pneumatic connections are now required for the forward stroke, return stroke and permanent supply functions. In addition, all line-X drive cylinders are equipped with dynamic pressure control (control throttle X).

Control variants
The manufacturer Tox offers optional control variants such as pressure regulators in the power stroke line, external power stroke activation or external power stroke release. In the event of service or repair, the pressure regulator and Oder valve can be easily replaced on site. Overall, the improved cylinders ensure significantly increased fast lifting forces and a noticeable increase in lifting speed, along with minimized maintenance and repair costs. In addition, the drive cylinders are easy to control and regulate, emphasizes Tox - meaning they can be easily integrated into work or process stations as well as sub-systems or complete systems. The robust quality design enables the manufacturer to provide a guarantee of ten million strokes over a period of twelve months for all power packs without shift limitations. pb
