New series with shortened overall length
After four years, Heidrive presents a new series of servomotors that is characterized above all by a shorter overall length.
A lot has happened since Heidrive's third servo motor series, HeiMotion Dynamic (HMD), was launched on the servo motor market in 2015. Almost every year, the market pushes for even more compact and powerful products. With these requirements in mind, Heidrive has further developed the existing series to achieve a further reduction in overall length of over 20 percent.
The considerable reduction in length is made possible by standard short end caps for various encoders and connectors, as well as full encapsulation on the stator and further improved winding and magnet technology with increased efficiency. The fully encapsulated coil also ensures a voltage steepness of 14 kilovolts per microsecond. The mass moments of inertia have also been further optimized. The motor is supplied with a KTY temperature sensor. A PT1000 temperature sensor can be installed on request.
The new HMD series is fully integrated into the Heidrive modular servo system. All existing options such as encoders, brakes, connectors etc. can be used. The enhanced series will be presented to trade visitors for the first time at the Heidrive stand at SPS in Nuremberg. dsc
