Management of drive technology specialist
New Managing Director for Bauer Gear Motor
Nader Halmuschi is to become the new Managing Director of Bauer Gear Motor. He will succeed Karl-Peter Simon, who has announced his intention to retire.
The appointment comes in a difficult economic climate, not dissimilar to that in 2009 when Karl-Peter Simon himself took on the role. Bauer Gear Motor, part of Altra Industrial Motion Corporation, has used the past few months to plan the change in leadership and appoint a successor with the necessary experience and technical knowledge for the role.
"Recent events will certainly increase the challenges of this position," explains Halmuschi, "but thanks to the good planning around my appointment, I will have time to work alongside Karl-Peter Simon before he goes into well-deserved retirement."
Nader Halmuschi will report to Mark Klossner, President of the Altra Gearing Division. Klossner says: "Nader Halmuschi has both the technical expertise and the experience we need to continue the growth of Bauer Gear Motor. His appointment will ensure that the successes of his predecessor are built upon and Bauer moves into the future stronger than ever."
