Motion controller for small drives
Medium power range covered
Faulhaber has another housing-less and compact motion controller in its range, which is particularly suitable for integration in device construction and medical technology applications.
With 36 volts and three amps (peak current nine amps), it covers the power range up to around 100 watts and is suitable for DC motors with encoders, brushless drives or linear motors.
For medical technology applications
Only together with the right motion controller do small and micro motors become a reliable drive system. In addition to its extensive motor portfolio, drive specialist Faulhaber offers a wide range of motion controllers in various performance classes with or without housing for a wide variety of applications. With its compact dimensions, the new MC3603 family member is particularly suitable for integration in device construction and medical technology applications.
It is suitable for "normal" DC motors with encoders, brushless drives and linear motors. The I/O scope and encoder interfaces correspond to those of the entire family. USB, RS232, CAN-Open and Ethercat are available for communication. The motion controller already contains the new firmware version "M". The latest update (version 6.9) of the Motion Manager from Faulhaber is available for simple and convenient system setup.
EMC-compliant design for all motion controllers
With the MC 3603, the motion controllers cover the entire range of applications typical for small and micro motors, from the postage stamp-sized MC 3001 with 30 watts and one ampere (peak current two amperes) to the largest family member, the MC 5010 with ten amperes (peak current 30 amperes), which is designed for switch cabinet mounting and has proven itself in the industrial sector in particular. All motion controllers comply with current EMC regulations.
The drive specialists have dealt with this complex topic in detail. Not only has the hardware been optimized accordingly, but the documentation has also been redesigned to provide users with the best possible support when certifying their own devices.
