Miniature clutches

Torsionally rigid in a limited space

KBK offers a wide range of miniature couplings for various applications. According to the manufacturer, they are characterized by high torsional stiffness and have minimal restoring forces.

The miniature clutches from KBK are also pluggable.

Servomotors in testing or packaging machines are the perfect application area for the KB2H metal bellows coupling in half-shell design. It is equipped with a stainless steel bellows and an aluminum hub and is suitable for mounting on shafts with a diameter of 3 to 22 mm. The coupling can be used in applications with torques between 0.5 and 10 Nm, where it not only guarantees a backlash-free connection, but also compensates for shaft misalignment. Thanks to a removable clamping bracket, the coupling can also be mounted radially.

The KB1 is designed for torque ranges from 0.05 to 10 Nm and shaft diameters from 1 to 24 mm. As with the KB1P, lateral grub screws are used to fasten the coupling, which can also compensate for misalignment. In the KB2 and KB2P, friction-locked clamping hubs establish the connection with the shaft. Both couplings are suitable for connecting various components such as rotary encoders, tachos, servo drives, stepper motors or NC axes. The manufacturer has developed the KB3 and KB3P miniature couplings for connecting hollow shafts. Both couplings have a compact and space-saving design and can transmit torques from 0.5 to 10 Nm. sw
