Pluggable for high-speed applications
Jakob Antriebstechnik offers the KPP metal bellows coupling to meet the ever-increasing demands for higher performance.
Its nominal torque is over 600 Nm and the maximum torque is around 1200 Nm. It has to withstand operating speeds of up to 10,000 rpm and therefore extremely high dynamic loads. The connection of the clutch also poses special design requirements. A backlash-free plug-in principle of the hub also enables simple blind assembly. Operational safety is guaranteed in a temperature range from -40 to 200 °C.
Customized special solutions, special hubs, individual solutions for the metal bellows or alternative material designs are available on request.
