Exemplary corporate governance
Manfred Wittenstein receives German Leadership Award 2018
Once a year, young engineers - graduates of the Collège des Ingenieurs - receive the "German Leadership Award" for exemplary corporate management. This year, Dr. Manfred Wittenstein, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Wittenstein, received the award.
The jury was won over by the combination of entrepreneurial vision and new leadership and management approaches that characterize Manfred Wittenstein's entrepreneurial life's work: "Dr. Manfred Wittenstein has made a name for himself both as an Industry 4.0 pioneer and as a Leadership 4.0 trailblazer. He turns bold ideas into products. His eye for innovation is an inspiration for the next generation of managers," says Lars Wagner, jury chairman and CEO of MTU Aero Engines.
The Collège des Ingénieurs (CDI) is an independent, international institution for postgraduate management education exclusively for graduates in engineering and natural sciences (all STEM subjects). The MBA program in Germany is financed by companies. The presentation of the German Leadership Award is part of the annual alumni convention. The award is presented both in recognition of achievements and as an impetus for new directions. kp
