Intelligent Pure Power drives
Elmo Motion Control has developed intelligent servo technology which, according to the manufacturer, works precisely and dynamically, especially in small spaces. So-called "Pure Power" drives. Pure Power refers to the ability to supply the system with exactly the power that is required. In other words, "not too little, not too much". Normally, excessive or inadequate power transfers result in mechanical stresses that are disruptive and cause electrical and mechanical stress. These are usually disturbing and undesirable electrical or mechanical harmonics, excessive heat in the drive as well as electromagnetic interference, mechanical vibrations and resonances. All these effects essentially impair the performance of the system. According to the manufacturer, Elmo Motion Control's servo drives are designed not only to deliver the results advertised by I4.0, but also to create leaner machine designs that are also smarter, smaller, lighter, safer, greener and more efficient.
The servo drives can detect, monitor and analyze machine movements, parts and moving devices. Real-time force, torque, speed and position measurement provides high-resolution magnitude and time-stamp data for each parameter. The data obtained can be used to perform multidimensional machine analysis and provide valuable information regarding the running condition of the machine as well as preventive maintenance advice. sw
