Increased efficiency and precision

Schaeffler rotary table bearings have a high tilting rigidity with very low friction values. For the machines, this results in a higher rigidity and speed of the rotary table with lower thermal influences. This results in higher cutting performance, faster cycle times and improved precision and surface quality.

With the wider range of machining processes, the demands on rolling bearings are also increasing. They must be resistant to contamination with hard particles and have reliable, friction-optimized sealing concepts. Schaeffler is presenting new solutions for this. The new RUE-F recirculating roller bearing and guideway assembly requires less lubricant due to its design, thus reducing operating fluid costs and protecting the environment.

With Schaeffler SpindleSense, a measuring system for determining the spatial displacement of main spindles, the main spindle can be operated at its load limit. Schaeffler DuraSense, a monitoring solution for feed axes, ensures needs-based lubrication and evaluation of the machine condition. This prevents unplanned downtimes and increases system availability. DuraSense is particularly suitable for simple retrofitting in existing systems. This makes it possible to digitalize machines and systems at a later date with little effort. An extensive portfolio of condition monitoring and relubrication systems also allows operators of machines and entire production sites to reliably and economically monitor and automatically relubricate both standard units and drives as well as machine tools.
