Low weight and high load capacity
Nabtesco offers a wide range of hollow shaft gearboxes.
These are slightly larger than solid shaft gearboxes, but the hollow space inside ensures weight savings and allows data and supply lines as well as drive shafts to be routed through the middle of the gearbox. Hollow shaft gearboxes have larger main bearings than solid shaft gearboxes, which has a positive effect on their load capacity.
The cycloidal hollow shaft gearboxes from Nabtesco are characterized by high torque performance, high shock load capacity and minimal backlash over the entire service life. Due to the two-stage reduction principle, the precision gearboxes have very good behavior in terms of dynamics and smooth running. The integrated angular contact ball bearings contribute to the high torsional rigidity and resistance to shock and overload.
