Electronic lifting system for AGVs
Heidrive is presenting its new electronic lifting system for AGVs at LogiMAT. Behind the lifting system is a space-saving combination of different numbers of servomotors that can be controlled via just one 48-volt four-axis controller.
The aim was to develop an electronic lifting system for AGVs that guarantees high efficiency combined with high overload capacity and therefore a long service life of - according to the company - up to one million double cycles. The linear actuators have been equipped with a new coil technology for 48 V DC vehicle electrical systems and are therefore specially designed for use in battery-powered AGVs. An individual motor flange also enables optimum force absorption. This provides the customer with forces of up to 6,000 N per drive. The integration of various components, such as internally installed sensors for end position detection or the reduction of connectors, has freed up installation space - making the vehicle lighter, faster and more efficient on the road.
One advantage is the integrated reinforced ball screw. This allows the load capacity of the AGV to be increased to 2.4 t. The compact motor size of 100 x 100 mm and the light weight of 9 kg per drive enable low vehicle heights with dynamic vehicle guidance. With a maximum speed of up to 37.5 mm/s, the spindles achieve a stroke of 100 mm within 4 seconds.
In addition to the reliability and quality of the individual components, the safety of the drives is essential and must be taken into account when installing the components. To ensure safe handling, two built-in sensors for end position detection provide the necessary machine safety. The four-axis controller also features STO (Safe Torque Off), which means that the power supply to the drive is interrupted immediately in an emergency.
