Electric lifting cylinder
Lifting cylinder communicates
Dunkermotoren has developed an electric lifting cylinder with an industrial Ethernet interface. With the BG 65Sx50 PN and the CASM40 cylinder, the product consists of a DC motor and an electromechanical lifting cylinder.
The motor is a brushless DC motor from the BG series. The CASM-40 electric lifting cylinder runs with a rated voltage of 24 or 40/48 volts and a ball screw, which has high travel speeds of up to 825 millimetres per second. The cylinder converts the rotary energy into linear movements, creating a linear drive unit. In addition, the stroke can be between 100 and 600 millimetres. The electronically commutated DC drives are characterized by their robust design and high overload capacity. This means that the maximum output power of the BG 65S can be increased from 190 watts to around 340 watts continuous output power for a certain period of time. With this power and its compact design, the motor-lifting cylinder combination is suitable for industrial automation and mechanical engineering.
The linear drive can score points over pneumatic and hydraulic competitors in particular. The motor-lift cylinder combination is more environmentally friendly and maintenance-free, the travel distances are greater and the speeds are faster. Fast data communication is possible thanks to the Profinet industrial Ethernet standard. as
