Synchronous motor

Efficient with permanent magnet

At the SPS, Nord is focusing on an energy-efficient synchronous motor of the latest generation, which exceeds IE4, and future-proof frequency inverters.

The energy-efficient permanent magnet synchronous motor is an absolute innovation. The compact and unventilated smooth motor achieves its high efficiency, which in some cases exceeds efficiency class IE5, over a wide torque range and is therefore ideal for intralogistics applications and economical operation in the partial load range. The IE5+ motor offers a high power density and will initially be launched in a size for power ranges from 0.25 to 1.1 kilowatts. The Nordac Pro SK 500P frequency inverter is the first device in Nord's new generation of frequency inverters. In addition to the standard CANopen interface, a multi-chip for Industrial Ethernet enables the use of the most important real-time Ethernet standards via a single interface. The new generation of inverters also adopts the Nordac parameter structure and is physically and functionally downward compatible. as
