SPS Connect
Ventilation and drive solutions from ebm-papst
The SPS is taking place digitally this year. The "SPS Connect" runs from November 24-26. ebm-papst will be there with innovative ventilation and drive solutions.
Special geometry: Diagonal fan
As with an axial fan, the new DiaForce diagonal fan also draws in and blows out air in an axial direction. Its special geometry minimizes turbulence and increases the pressure build-up at the same time. This results in a significant noise reduction of 6 dB(A) with up to 50 percent higher air performance. A typical application is electronics cooling, for example in data centers or base stations for mobile communications.
Robust axial fan
On the other hand, axial fans are more likely to be used for high volume flows with low back pressure, such as in evaporators, heat pumps or other ventilation and air conditioning devices. At the beginning of 2020, ebm-papst presented the pressure-stable AxiEco Protect axial fans with protective grille. Its low noise emissions make it particularly suitable for applications in noise-sensitive areas. In November 2020, the existing series was expanded to include the AxiEco Perform axial fans with a composite housing.
Drives in safety extra-low voltage
The modular ECI drive system is ideally suited for decentralized drive tasks within industrial automation for stationary and mobile applications. The "heart" of all configurations is a brushless, electronically commutated ECI internal rotor servomotor. The focus is on drives in safety extra-low voltage - currently in the power range between 10-750 watts. In addition to the electronically commutated motor, control electronics with various communication interfaces, different gearbox variants, brakes, encoders etc. are also available. The modular ECI drive system from ebm-papst is ideally suited for decentralized applications in production and assembly automation, handling systems and industrial robots.
