Dunkermotoren and MAE in new hall
Drives for the future
Dunkermotoren and MAE - the two Ametek brands - will also be represented in Nuremberg, this time at a new stand location. Here, trade visitors can see the PLG 75 SL servoline gearbox.
With high performance and a service life of more than 20,000 hours, it forms a complete solution in combination with the drive manufacturer's DC servomotors. The BG 45 dPro is a new member of the BLDC motor portfolio that is based on the Motor Control Platform (MCP). The MCP is a modular concept that is used in all smart BG motors and some external electronics from Dunkermotoren and enables the programming of various parameters and safety functions. This is where the integration of the complete motor electronics into the already compact housing scores points. With a continuous output power of up to 110 watts and rated speeds of up to 4,720 revolutions per minute, the motor is more powerful than its predecessors with the same rated voltage.
In line with this, the IIoT brand Nexofox is showing how product data can be provided in the form of digital twins via asset administration shells in the future. Together with partners conplement, Endress & Hauser, Kübler, ifm and AS-Schneider, a solution has been developed with the support of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance to provide administration shells in a standardized and manufacturer-independent manner. With the classic IIoT use cases, Nexofox is continuing the modular concept of Dunkermotoren's DNA in the digital world. The sister company MAE is dedicated to the local sourcing trend in 2023. The company manufactures its products exclusively in Europe. Combined with brakes, encoders, gearboxes and electronics, the stepper motor portfolio offers individually combinable drive solutions.
