The new Nordac Link field distributor series has been specially optimized for conveyor technology. The drive control for flexible installation close to the motor is available as a frequency inverter (up to 7.5 kilowatts) and motor starter (up to three kilowatts) and offers fast commissioning, simple operation and maintenance, says Nord. This is achieved through a high degree of pluggability, which means that all modules, components and connections are joined together using simple plug-in connections. The field distributor can be freely configured for every requirement and application and can be integrated into all modern systems thanks to the integrated PLC and compatibility with all standard bus systems.

The operation of conveyor systems is characterized by frequent partial loads. It is precisely under these conditions that IE4 synchronous motors develop their full energy-saving potential.
