Configuration tool
Finding the optimum motor/gearbox combination
The Neugart Calculation Program (NCP) makes it possible to find the most cost- and energy-efficient gearbox-motor combination. The configuration tool is now available in the new version NCP 4.2.
In the NCP, design engineers can calculate complex load curves in the drivetrain and determine the optimum application-specific motor-gearbox combination on this basis. With the update, this is now also possible for traction drives in driverless transport vehicles and the new NGV gearbox series tailored to them. In addition, existing projects from current or older NCP versions can now be added to newly designed controlled systems and compared with them.
With version 4.2, Neugart has also further simplified the operation of the tool and improved its user-friendliness. For example, conversions are no longer necessary when importing read-out engine data. Users of common CAD programs can also use the familiar point as a separator in addition to the comma. Calculations can also be carried out in the input fields. The gearbox documentation has also been optimized so that the user can see even more quickly whether the selected gearbox is actually suitable based on the load bars.
Last but not least, NCP 4.2 provides an example for each application, making it easy to learn how to use the tool.
