JAT expands product range
Jenaer Antriebstechnik (JAT) is acquiring a stake in Ilmenauer Mechatronik. The company specializes in the development and optimization of mechatronic drive systems and the determination of magnetic properties.
In addition to the development of linear and rotary drives for industrial and automotive applications, Ilmenau Mechatronics has a patented measuring and testing method for the sensorless analysis and qualitative evaluation of magnetic actuators. This should benefit users of electromagnetic components and systems, particularly in the areas of system optimization and system monitoring.
Together with the know-how of the Ilmenau-based company, development capacities and expertise can be strengthened and further expanded, explains JAT Managing Director Stephan Preuß. For customers, this means short processing times from the specification to the individual series product. as
