Quality tracking module for 3D printing

Replique, provider of a 3D printing platform that makes OEMs' parts management more efficient and sustainable, is using Formnext to launch RSure, an innovative quality tracking module that enables OEMs to directly track each of their 3D printed parts and ensure that parts meet the necessary quality requirements. With RSure, OEMs can set quality specifications and a digital inspection process and track the parts produced with Replique before they are shipped to customers. The new module will be introduced as part of Replique's industrial 3D printing platform.

RSure also allows OEMs to determine quality checks that need to be performed by service bureaus on the 3D printed parts, including various certified measurements, functional tests and uploading images to the OEM's digital library on Replique. The OEMs can access and view this information remotely at any time via the secure platform.

Formnext visitors will be able to test Replique's encrypted ordering process - which ensures parts are printed in the desired quantity and quality - by ordering a free 3D printed giveaway, which will be produced on the stand. This also allows a close look at the company's digital warehouse, which enables the storage, management and internal ordering of parts.

Visitors can also find out about various applications from the company's customers. These include a project with Alstom in which a door stopper was used as the first 3D-printed series metal part for rail vehicles. It was qualified with Forward AM, a brand of BASF 3D Printing Solutions, and manufactured in series production using the metal filament Ultrafuse 316L.
