Compact design with robust construction
With the compact KGE metal bellows coupling, Jakob Antriebstechnik has developed a solution for all gearboxes with a drive flange.
This system unit has a very short design with maximum utilization of the rigidity of the gearbox. This enables compact machine construction and short positioning times.
The coupling in a robust all-metal design has a two-part connecting flange and is suitable for standardized flange connection in accordance with DIN-EN-ISO 9409-1. Secure and durable connections between metal bellows and stainless steel or steel hubs are created using a modern micro-plasma welding process. The process has unlimited fatigue strength, even under critical operating conditions. In addition to the KGE series, Jakob offers matching coupling solutions for all gearbox series.
