Clamping systems: Precisely brought to the (zero) point

Erwin Halder is expanding its portfolio to include various zero-point clamping systems. These include hydraulic versions as built-in versions with integrated lifting of the fixtures as well as hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical versions with a modular design. According to the manufacturer, all models of the zero point clamping system - whether the hydraulic built-in versions with integrated lift-off or the mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic versions with a modular design - consist of draw-in elements and draw-in rings that are coupled together via balls in the journal of the draw-in element. In contrast to other systems, the feed elements (with pins) are mounted in the base plates on the machine table or on pallets and the feed rings (with locating bore) on the opposite side to be clamped, such as on the underside of fixtures and carrier plates. The modular feed elements are permanently clamped and centered by spring force. The balls in the spigot are released via the control module. They can be integrated into base plates, brackets, cubes etc. and screwed onto tables and panels. All three have a holding force of up to 10 kN.

The modular versions are also available with an optional anti-rotation device. The pull-in rings are suitable for all pull-in elements. They can be screwed onto and integrated into fixtures or directly onto the workpiece. The pull-in rings are available in three versions for positioning and simultaneous clamping of fixture elements: centric for alignment and clamping at the zero point, sword-shaped for alignment in one axial direction and floating without centering function for overdetermined additional clamping. All pull-in elements and rings are made of case-hardened, ground steel and the base and carrier plates are made of aluminum. sw
