Monitoring is sensorless with the retrofittable Roba-brake-checker module. Through an extended analysis of current and voltage, it detects the movement of the armature plate and knows the condition of the brake. In addition to the switching status, temperature and wear, the Roba-brake-checker also monitors the traction path or traction force reserve. In the field of clutches, Mayr has been involved in process monitoring for many years. Among other things, the company has continued to develop the Roba-DSM torque-measuring shaft coupling, which provides precise measurement data.
