New thermode systems
ATN Automatisierungstechnik Niemeier has been representing Avio thermode systems in Germany since the beginning of the year and will be presenting them at Motek.
The thermode systems are suitable for iron soldering, heat sealing and heat caulking. They are based on the TCW-315 control and power unit, which provides an adjustable output voltage of 0.88 to 3.5 volts and ensures a reproducible, reliable process by digitally controlling the current, voltage, power and temperature parameters. The system heads cover a wide range of tasks and enable pressure forces of 1 to 600 newtons. There is a leveling function between the Z-guide and the thermode so that the thermode is optimally positioned on the workpiece. The thermodes can be cooled with air to accelerate the cooling process.
