Weidmüller presents new HDC inserts with innovative Quick-Termination (QT) connection technology.
Flexible, fine-stranded conductors from 0.5 to 2.5 mm2without crimped-on wire end ferrules can be easily inserted into the open connection point. No tools are required. The connection can withstand difficult environmental conditions as well as strong shocks and vibrations. The connection point can be opened by pressing the pusher and the connected conductor can be removed.
The Quick-Termination connection technology is being used for the first time in HDC-HE inserts in the RockStar series. Fixed-pole inserts are available with 6, 10, 16 and 24 poles (sizes 3, 4, 6 and 8). The rated voltage of the inserts is 500 V / 16 A.
