Various sensors and electromechanical switching devices as well as actuators and operating systems can be integrated into the wireless network solution. They send and receive data via the sWave.Net wireless standard, which Steute has developed for this application. Access points collect the data from the wireless sensors and actuators and transmit it to a Sensor Bridge, which acts as a service manager for data transfer to higher-level IT systems. This creates end-to-end communication from the store floor to the IT management level.
