The Short Range Radio Node (SRN) is a further development of Meshnet technologies. The functions include both sensors and actuators. In addition to sending and receiving data, control tasks can also be implemented. The device from Sys Tec Eelctronic has digital outputs with bistable relays for this purpose.

The software stack from Wirepas makes it possible to activate the node only when necessary. The result is low energy consumption and therefore a battery life of up to three years. The node can also be operated via a 24 V connection. It transmits at a frequency of 2.4 GHz and includes an NFC antenna for provisioning.
