Schneider Electric expands Easy-UPS-3M series

Schneider Electric is expanding its Easy UPS 3M series with three new power sizes of 120, 160 and 200 kVA. With an optimized footprint design and solid technical features, the Easy UPS 3M protects critical equipment in a variety of physical environments from damage caused by power outages and surges.

The low-investment three-phase UPS systems are designed to protect medium-sized and large data centers and can be used to protect mission-critical telecommunications or industrial applications.

In double conversion mode, the Easy-UPS-3M systems achieve an efficiency value of up to 96 percent. The energy-saving Eco mode offers additional savings potential: according to the company, efficiency values of up to 99 percent are possible here. Thanks to the high power factor of 0.99, reactive power losses are also reduced to a minimum. The series is also characterized by protection class IP-20, integrated load test, overload protection and a large input voltage window. The systems are easy to install and can be easily rolled into position thanks to integrated heavy-duty castors. The UPS system can be quickly checked or serviced at any time thanks to the service access on the front. For particularly high power requirements, up to six UPS systems can be connected in parallel to increase capacity.

The UPS units can be configured and managed via a user-friendly display. With the optionally available SNMP card, it is also possible to integrate the new Easy-UPS systems into the cloud-based DCIM platform EcoStruxure IT Expert. Schneider Electric customers also receive a commissioning service. This ensures that the Easy UPS 3M is configured correctly and securely. The new sizes up to 200 kVA are available immediately in the DACH region.
