Field box for up to 8 safety switching devices
Schmersal presents the Safety Fieldbox SFB-PN-IRT-8M12-IOP. The safe field box for Profinet/Profisafe systems is suitable for the plug-and-play installation of up to eight safety switching devices.
The universal device interface with 8-pin M12 plug allows a wide variety of safety switching devices to be connected. The signals from the connected devices are forwarded to a safety controller for evaluation via the safe fieldbus interface. The parallel transmission of the safety signals enables the switching devices to be freely linked in the control system. In addition, the connections of the Schmersal field box can be configured for the connection of different devices. Furthermore, all device connections are equipped with a self-resetting fuse element for line protection.
