With the web-based Remote Access Platform (RAP), Sigmatek offers a wide range of remote maintenance options.
Machine data can thus be conveniently collected and evaluated. A secure VPN connection to the desired machine can be set up via the central interface. This allows the machine or system visualization to be operated via VNC. The user can carry out software updates, debugging and maintenance.
VPN data communication takes place via remote access routers (RAR); alternatively, software-based implementation in the machine control system as embedded remote access is possible. The compact RARs for the DIN rail ensure that high IT security standards are met. Various RAR variants are available from Sigmatek: Ethernet only, SIM 3G/4G as well as Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 4G LTE.
