CG Drives & Automation presents new Emotron Power Conversion Systems (PCS), which are specially tailored to the battery storage market.
The high-performance converters offer flexible solutions to unlock the full potential of energy storage systems. Manufactured in Sweden, the converters support a range of important functions, including peak shaving, load shifting and bidirectional power flow. The technology also offers black start capabilities and full grid compliance, allowing flexibility in energy management, according to the supplier. Key features include: flexible power conversion through a wide range of converter options (AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC), local grid design and monitoring with monitoring and anti-islanding detection to ensure continuous operation, and converters that eliminate common mode noise without isolation transformers. The systems are fully scalable.
