Simulate configuration offline

From version 10.9 of the PNOZmulti Configurator software tool, PNOZmulti projects of configurable safe small controllers can also be simulated offline without the need for hardware. Pilz thus provides a tool for detecting, analyzing and rectifying faults at an early stage.

From software version 10.9, the "Simulation" function can be used to test the configured user program for the safe monitoring of machines and systems before they are commissioned. This function opens up potential savings during project planning. Users can ensure that their safety controller is configured correctly and the correct function of the program logic is verified before use. This is how Pilz application simulation provides support.

This is particularly advantageous for machines with complex safety devices and close human-machine interaction, where extensive and complex safety mechanisms have to protect the operator.

Less risk for man and machine

Simple logic elements, counters and operating modes such as continuous cycle are calculated automatically in the first step. It is also possible to simulate the entire application if elements that are not simulated are set to the required state. This eliminates the need to define all inputs.

With the Configurator, users can easily plan, configure, document or commission. Simple diagnostics and visualization options reduce machine and system downtimes.
