ebm-papst manufactures components and software for intelligent automation as well as new solutions for industrial ventilation technology.
ebm-papst has revised the ECI-42.xx BLDC drive for the modular system. The basic version of the modular system consists of motors with Hall sensors, integrated encoder and brake, gearbox and plug and has protection class IP54. The connection is made using a plug; alternatively, the drive is also available with cables. The 420J compact fan is now also available in protection class IP68, EMC protection class B and 48 V DC voltage input. The IP68 protection class in conjunction with improved EMC properties makes it easier to use in automation applications such as frequency converters or motor soft starters.
