Mechanically and electrically, the robust infrared high performance light barriers (protection class IP 67) are compatible with standard fork light barriers.

Available in fork widths of 20, 30, 50 and 80 mm, the series guarantees precise and surface-independent object detection with a reproducibility of 0.03 mm, even in dirty and oily environments. Preferred areas of use are mechanical engineering applications with large amounts of dust, coolant or oil. The dual operating concept stands for fast commissioning and simple adjustment via potentiometer or alternatively via IO-Link. By using the IO-Link interface, a wide range of control options, teach processes, parameterization and predictive diagnostic concepts such as the signaling of increasing contamination can be implemented.
