All About Automation
Automation trade fair in Hamburg in January
The regional trade fair series All About Automation will kick off its trade fair year on January 15 and 16, 2020 in the Hamburg-Schnelsen exhibition hall with a special edition for the northern region.
Around 150 exhibitors will be represented at the highly specialized trade fair for industrial automation. 129 companies were at the last trade fair. This means that visitors will be offered an even more extensive range of products and services in 2020. The focus will be on tried-and-tested components and systems for industrial automation and practical solutions for the digital transformation.
Numerous leading international companies will be represented, such as ABB Stotz-Kontakt, Eplan, Murrelektronik, Phoenix Contact, Pilz, Rittal and Schneider Electric. An important component of the exhibitor portfolio are the engineering service providers located and operating directly in the northern region and thus the specialists for the implementation of complete automation solutions. They include Ahlrich Siemens and Besecke from Bremen; Emis electrics, IVM Ingo von Minden and KTC Systemtechnik from Hamburg; Hanseatic Power Solutions from Norderstedt, Leitek from Schwerin, Reinholz Software & Technology from Itzehoe and TDK Technische Dienste Kleinschmidt from Neumünster. Specialists for robotics applications will once again be strongly represented at the trade fair in 2020. For example, IAI Industrieroboter, Igus, Rethink Robotics and Universal Robots.
The visitors to the trade fair mainly come from the surrounding area and reflect a mix of the industrial automation application sectors represented in the northern region. The focus is on mechanical and plant engineering and the electrical engineering industry.
The twenty or so free presentations in the Talk Lounge accompanying the trade fair are organized according to the topics of industrial communication, IIoT, safety and security, drive technology, robotics and HRC as well as control cabinet construction. The topics range from detailed specialist knowledge about the performance of specific solutions to discussions about the possibilities and limits of openness and interoperability.
