The high-precision measuring instrument for controlled screw tightening is suitable for working under voltage of up to 1,000 volts on components and conductors in the automotive industry, the telecommunications sector and special applications in foundries, for example. The latest generation of the 4508-05 is based on the established Torcofix pipe torque wrench and the release technology used there.

The VDE torque wrench is designed for a working range of ten to 50 Newton meters, which can be set by turning the handle after unlocking it at the end of the handle. Fine adjustment is made using a scale graduation in 0.25 Newton meter increments.
