Sensor-supported assembly guidance system
The Swiss company Phoenix Mecano Komponenten starts where added value is created - at the assembly workplace.
The sensor-supported assembly guidance system "Setago Pick2Light" is one of the new products on show. It consists of Modbus laser sensors that register movement in their reading angle, as well as a computer, monitor and software. There are also optional I/O connections and I/O add-ons. When designing the system, the manufacturer prioritized ease of use.
This means that SETAGO is a system that allows you to get started immediately without time-consuming PLC programming, with an interface that users are used to from an app these days. The target group is SMEs in an environment of digitalization and investment pressure. The starter kit includes 20 sensors, software, computer, monitor, push-button and I/O control and is mounted and wired via click-easy adapter plates.
The software offers an administrator and an operator mode. As an administrator, it is possible to store processes directly via the software interface. Processes can be generated from a parts list or created step by step. The teach mode enables the simple and uncomplicated assignment of sensors to the individual steps. Subsequent editing and uploading of media files is no problem. In operator mode, errors are detected the moment they occur and the process is paralyzed until the error message is acknowledged. pb
