In Hall 3 at Stand 3411, the Kanban specialist will be showcasing its efficient RFID systems and its expertise in special and drawing parts. Motek is the perfect platform for the Otto Roth product portfolio: in terms of efficient C-parts management, individual Kanban solutions with RFID technology are a trade fair highlight. Each Kanban container is equipped with an RFID transponder on which all important information about the respective article is stored. Various readers are available to trigger an automatic order. Otto Roth has expanded the existing systems with the RFID exclusive collection box, an even more convenient variant. The employee simply throws the empty bins into the collection box, which automatically records the bin data. The read-out data is then forwarded to the transmitting device - the Master Kanban Box. This collects all orders and transmits them directly to Otto Roth's ERP system at predefined intervals via LAN, WLAN or mobile network. The advantages for the customer: They can significantly optimize their procurement processes, automate reordering and manage their stock more cost-effectively. Changes and additional orders can also be made easily at any time. The convenient control functions and overviews ensure reliable data management.

At the trade fair stand, customers can get hands-on with the RFID Kanban shelf and test an order release. Motek visitors can also try out the completely redesigned e-shop, which the company has given a technical upgrade. The new, user-friendly platform now offers many practical functions for fast and efficient procurement processes.

Competence in procurement

Otto Roth will also be focusing on the procurement of special and drawing parts at the trade fair. Here, the company relies on a proven supplier network in Germany and Europe. The special department responsible for this at the Stuttgart site ensures that the user's drawing specifications and technical requirements are precisely adhered to. In the first step, they check the submitted drawings for their process-reliable feasibility. Then the real challenge begins - choosing the optimum production technology and manufacturing method to increase the cost-effectiveness of the products without losing sight of functionality.

On request, the experts can take over the complete procurement of parts, including supplier selection, warehousing and transportation directly to the customer's plant. All special parts and even sensitive and complex drawing parts can also be supplied as part of a Kanban model if required: Special, careful packaging reliably protects the sensitive components during transportation so that they arrive at the customer undamaged and ready for use.

Precision manufacturing at the Buchen site

In addition to optimized procurement processes, Otto Roth also offers users a high level of expertise in the production of hardened and ground precision turned parts. The company manufactures these at its own production site in Buchen with experienced employees and a modern and extensive machine park. On a production area of 5,500 square meters, rotationally symmetrical, ready-to-install turned parts made from all machinable materials are produced according to customer requirements. If required, the experts also assemble the components into complete, multi-part assemblies in the in-house assembly department.
