Planning board system

Overview of two worlds

Weigang presents the next expansion stage of its network-compatible planning board system for order tracking. The dual solution maps all events digitally and physically at the same time. The system is based on linking RFID technology with the user's ERP data. The linchpin is a link station that feeds an order into the NEO system and establishes the connection to the ERP system at the moment the order is accepted. From then on, the rest of the process is synchronized digitally and physically.

With the NEO order tracking system, the integration of the planning board, order pockets and coNEO database portal in terms of communication technology leads to a simultaneity in the mapping of the individual process stages, which provides a production manager with an optimum overall view of what is happening. So while the incoming order in an order bag with an RFID tag goes to pre-planning or production, this step is first physically visible on the RFID-enabled planning board - and this also applies to all further process stages. The RFID planning board, which is structured into different phases, also transmits every order status and every change to the coNEO database portal. So if an order pocket is actually moved, this process progress is also reflected in the software. If, on the other hand, a bag ends up in the malfunction field, the employee responsible is notified. The last recorded process stage is dispatch, where the RFID order pocket is booked out of the process, which the system indicates with an automatic order completion message. as
